Oman’s Municipality warns establishments selling unfit meat

Muscat: The Food Control and Licensing Department of the Municipality in Bidiyah conducted inspections at six meat-selling establishments as part of their ongoing efforts to uphold food safety standards.

Two establishments were issued official warnings for failing to meet hygiene and quality standards in their meat products. Additionally, 6 kilograms of food deemed unfit for consumption were confiscated and destroyed.
