Muscat: Oman’s Ministry of Transport has signed an agreement with Hyundai Motor Group to pilot the country’s first hydrogen-powered city bus. Operated by Mwasalat, the 24-seat fuel-cell bus will hit Muscat’s public transport routes from late 2026 to 2027 as part of the nation’s push toward low-carbon mobility and Oman Vision 2040.
