Muscat – As per the latest update, Tropical Storm Shakti is currently located at latitude 21.5°N and longitude 60.0°E, approximately 150 kilometres away from the nearest point on the Sultanate of Oman’s coast.
The storm’s wind speed around the centre is estimated at 40 to 55 knots, and meteorologists have assessed the probability of further intensification as low.
