Muscat- Oman Meteorology has issued an alert for northwesterly wind activity expected to impact most governorates of Oman starting from Tuesday (April 9) evening and continuing through Wednesday (April 10) evening
The forecast indicates a likelihood of rising dust and dirt, particularly in desert and open areas across the affected governorates. This could lead to a noticeable decrease in horizontal visibility for motorists and residents.
There are chances of winds leading to an increase in sea waves along the coasts of the western Musandam Governorate, with wave heights potentially reaching up to 2.5 meters.
