Muscat- Oman Meteorology has issued a weather advisory regarding wind activity expected across most governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, beginning Tuesday, March 4, 2025, and continuing until the morning of Friday, March 7, 2025.

The forecast predicts strong north-easterly winds that will impact most regions of Oman. These winds are expected to cause rough seas, particularly along the coasts of the Arabian Sea, where wave heights could reach a maximum of 3 meters. Average wave heights are anticipated for the rest of the Omani coastline.

In addition to strong winds, there is a possibility of rising dust and dirt in desert and exposed areas. This may lead to reduced horizontal visibility, potentially affecting travel and outdoor activities.

Additionally, Oman Meteorology warns of the possibility of dust and dirt being raised in desert and exposed areas, which could significantly reduce horizontal visibility.
