MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander has issued a special Royal pardon to a number of prisoners convicted of different cases on Sunday.
In a statement issued, the Royal Oman Police said His Majesty has pardoned a total of 174 prisoners including expats.
His Majesty’s Royal pardon coincides with Oman’s 54th National Day and in consideration of families of the prisoners.
