Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion has introduced the service of Mobile laboratories for fuel pump testing as to ensure timely response and credibility in measurement of the quantity of fuel and the type of fuel offered to consumers. The Ministry would first start the service of mobile laboratories in the governorates of Muscat, Dhofar and North Al Batinah. MUSCAT: An Omani citizen has been transferred to hospital after falling from a cliff in the Fins area of Quriyat. “Emergency medical care was administered on-site to stabilize his condition before transferring him to the hospital. The citizen remains in critical condition,“ Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority said. Muscat- The Ministry of Labour has issued Decision 73/2024, outlining regulations for the conditional transfer of expatriate workers between private sector establishments. The decision, based on Royal Decree 53/2023, establishes strict guidelines to ensure compliance with Omanisation efforts and labour laws. Firefighting teams from the Civil Defense and Ambulance Department in Muscat Governorate, were able to rescue six people safely, after fire broke out at a residential building on Friday. The incident happened in Baushar. The firefighting teams managed to douse the blaze without recording any injuries.
