Mascat: On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued a special royal pardon for 645 prison inmates across the Sultanate.
The royal pardon, announced on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, grants clemency to inmates convicted in various cases. Among those pardoned are both Omani citizens and foreign nationals.
This act of clemency underscores His Majesty’s continued commitment to humanitarian values and social cohesion. It also comes as a gesture of goodwill toward the families of the inmates during this blessed holiday, offering them a renewed sense of hope and unity.
