MUSCAT : Oman’s Public Prosecution has issued a warning about the legal consequences of throwing objects from vehicles outside designated areas.
The offence is punishable by imprisonment for up to ten days and/or a fine of RO 300.
The Public Prosecution emphasized that this measure aims to maintain public cleanliness and safety by discouraging improper disposal practices.
Throwing objects from vehicles is illegal in Oman; violators face a RO 300 fine and 10-day jail sentence.
