MUSCAT: Muscat Municipality has urged residents and contractors to refrain from using private vehicles to transport construction materials in residential areas, stressing that such practices disrupt traffic, harm the city’s appearance, and cause inconvenience to residents.
In a statement, the Municipality said it continues to monitor the use of private vehicles at construction sites, pointing out that the practice can negatively affect traffic flow and the urban landscape.
Officials emphasized that designated construction vehicles should be used to ensure public safety and preserve the aesthetic standards of Muscat’s neighborhoods.
The move is part of wider efforts by Muscat Municipality to regulate construction activities, maintain smooth traffic movement, and enhance the overall quality of life in residential areas.
