Muscat: Oman Customs, through its Compliance and Risk Assessment Department, conducted a raid at a site housing expatriate workers in the Wilayat of Barka, resulting in the seizure of 8,926 boxes of fireworks and firecrackers intended for illegal trade.
The operation led to the arrest of two individuals of Indian nationality who were found storing and distributing the contraband.
Oman Customs released a video footage of the raid, highlighting the huge caches of illegal fireworks.
