Oman opens Hajj registration 1447 AH from Sept 23

Muscat: The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs has announced that Hajj registration for the 1447 AH season will open on September 23.

Citizens and residents of Oman aged 18 and above have the opportunity to register electronically until October 8.

According to the Ministry, applicants can register through the official portal at www.hajj.om, using their civil number, ID card, or mobile phone number if linked to the electronic authentication system (PKI). Registration outside the electronic system or beyond the deadline will not be accepted, ensuring transparency and fairness in the selection process.

The Ministry clarified that registration does not guarantee eligibility. Priority will be determined automatically based on the quota allocated by Saudi authorities, with successful applicants notified via text message. Eligibility will be confirmed across three entitlement stages:

First Entitlement: October 14–30, 2025

Second Entitlement: November 2–6, 2025

Third Entitlement: November 9–11, 2025

Tomorrow, the Ministry will release the full schedule for the 1447 AH Hajj season, including the final entry dates for pilgrims traveling by land and air to Saudi Arabia.

The Ministry stressed its commitment to streamlining procedures, preventing Hajj companies from interfering in registration, and providing the best services for pilgrims. It also warned that inaccurate information could lead to cancellation of eligibility, and declined opportunities will be reassigned directly to the next eligible candidate.
