Muscat: SGIVS Global, the official partner of the Indian Embassy in Muscat, has officially commenced operations at its first dedicated consular services centre in Oman
Located at Al Raid Business Centre in Al Qurum, Muscat, the centre opened its doors today, July 20, 2025, marking a major milestone in expanding consular, passport, visa, and other public service offerings across the Sultanate.
The newly launched centre will handle a wide range of services including passport renewals, visa processing, attestation, Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) applications, and more. All applicants are required to book appointments in advance via the SGIVS Appointment Booking Page.
This facility is the first of 11 planned Indian Consular Application Centres (ICACs) across Oman, as SGIVS seeks to extend its service footprint to meet the needs of the growing Indian diaspora and foreign nationals in the region.
With over 15 years of experience in providing end-to-end Government-to-Citizen (G2C) services globally, the company is leveraging technology-driven solutions—including AI tools and automated workflows—to ensure secure, efficient, and transparent operations.
