Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has issued an advisory to road users in desert areas across various governorates, warning of difficult driving conditions.
The ROP released a video clip demonstrating how active winds are currently causing significant sand accumulation and a severe reduction in horizontal visibility due to rising dust.
In a statement issued, the ROP urged all drivers traversing desert routes to “stay alert and cautious.”
