Muscat: Air India said that flights might be delayed or take longer routes because Pakistan has stopped Indian airlines from using its airspace.
Air India has warned that some of its international flights may face delays or changes in routes. This is because Pakistan has restricted its airspace for Indian airlines.
Flights going to places like North America, Europe, the UK, and the Middle East could now take longer as they need to fly around Pakistan’s airspace.
Air India said it is sorry for the trouble this may cause. In a statement, the airline said, “Air India regrets the inconvenience caused to our passengers due to this unexpected airspace closure. The safety of our passengers and crew is always our top priority.”
Passengers are advised to check the status of their flights by calling 011 69329333 or 011 69329999, or by visiting www.airindia.com.
