Low pressure to bring rain and clouds to Oman.

Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued a weather update as Oman braces for the impact of a low-pressure trough starting today, January 8, and lasting through tomorrow, January 9, 2025. Northern regions are set to experience scattered rain and increased cloud cover during this brief weather event.

According to the latest weather maps and numerical forecasts, the low-pressure system will bring significant weather changes to northern Oman. The Musandam Governorate is expected to receive scattered rain, while parts of the Sea of Oman’s coastline may also see light showers.

Clouds are anticipated to flow across several northern governorates, potentially affecting visibility and daily activities in the impacted areas.
