Muscat- The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) has expressed gratitude to His Majesty for his recent engagement with business owners, including women entrepreneurs and leaders of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups.
The meeting, held at Al Barakah Palace, is seen as a significant boost to the private sector’s role in advancing Oman’s economic growth.
OCCI Chairman His Excellency Sheikh Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas commended His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik’s personal engagement with Oman’s business community, calling it “Meeting His Highness is the biggest motivation for the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as the official representative of the private sector, to move forward in enhancing the growth and sustainability of the national economy and increasing its contribution to the GDP.” This interaction aligns with Oman’s Vision 2040 goals and strengthens the Chamber’s commitment to increasing the private sector’s GDP contribution.
