Muscat- The Environment Authority of Oman, in collaboration with the Consumer Protection Authority, conducted field inspections of veterinary clinics across Muscat Governorate.
The Environment Authority, in collaboration with the Consumer Protection Authority, has launched a series of field visits across the Muscat Governorate to enforce the newly implemented ban on plastic shopping bags.
These visits aim to ensure compliance with Decision No. (8/2024), which prohibits the use of plastic shopping bags during its initial phase.
During the inspections, authorities identified several institutions that failed to adhere to the new regulations. As a result, these non-compliant establishments faced fines as part of the enforcement measures.
