Muscat- The Sultan Qaboos University Earthquake Monitoring Center has reported a minor earthquake in the Arabian Sea.
The tremor, registering a magnitude of 3.3 on the Richter scale, occurred at 06:55 p.m. local time.
According to the monitoring centre, the earthquake’s epicentre was located approximately 292 kilometres southeast of the city of Haima, at a depth of 32 kilometres beneath the sea surface.
MUSCAT : To ensure consumer safety, the Ministry, represented by the Directorate General for Specifications and Measurements (DGSM) has announced the recall of the specified charger, due to its non-compliance with the Gulf technical regulations for low-voltage electrical appliances. The DGSM explained that manufacturing defects pose a threat to consumer safety.
